Are there any recommended safeguards for using online banking? Current integrity is ensured by having two signatures on cheques. As more and more suppliers and customers request online payment and bank charges can be much reduced by online banking (only one person authorizes payments), what safeguards are recommended for ensuring integrity?

Internet Business Banking/Charity accounts can be set up so that two authorisations are required before a payment is made.

Authorisations should be by individual passwords.
