I spoke at the diocesan Financial Consultation at Abingdon School on 23 Sep06 (about my role as diocesan adviser on giving and funding). Afterwards a number of treasurers approached me and indicated that they had not known of the existence of such help for them in the parishes.
For those of you who are unable to attend one of this year's three Financial Consultations, you can find out more about the kind of resources that I offer (a support service paid for through the Parish Share) by going to: www.oxford.anglican.org/giving/giving_intro.html

At Iffley we have been fortunate in a tremendous response to an appeal for increased regular giving. Numbers who give on a committed basis have increased from 65 to 75, and projected general giving has risen from £24000 to £32000. In the hope that our experience may be of use to others I have prepared a report on it, which is attached.
